Bethel

Bethel is on the Kuskokwim River in Southwest Alaska. It is 400 air miles West of Anchorage and approximately 70 miles from the Bering Sea. The town is the transportation hub for over 80 villages in the vast Yukon-Kuskokwim delta.

Much missionary outreach work has taken place in the Delta region but because of the size of the area and the limited transportation a great portion of the territory is basically untouched. Currently in Bethel Bro. David Amik and his family serve as the region's main contact.
